Position Overview:
The Email Marketing Coordinator will support the Email/CRM Marketing Manager on end-to-end management of all email campaigns, as well as for all direct-to-consumer marketing for 1-800 CONTACTS customers. This position will be responsible for maintaining the email marketing calendar, coordinating email marketing around key events and seasonal promotions, reporting, and email proofing. This position will interface with other key marketing positions, IT, and external vendors. This associate must be highly organized, have an aptitude for online marketing, be metrics driven and energetic with a desire to learn and grow.

| Duties: | Responsibilities:
� Support strategy, development, and execution of email marketing campaigns.
� Assist Email / CRM Manager in overseeing all aspects of email marketing campaigns including production work flow, legal compliance, campaign scheduling, and the creative process
� Coordinate weekly email campaign schedule including creative requests, set-up, testing, deployment and monitoring of email delivery
� Contribute and assist with the development of email projects and test plan designs
� Develop creative and campaign briefs for new projects
� Responsible for reporting and evaluating campaign performance on daily, weekly and monthly basis
� Interface with Marketing, IT, and external vendors to execute programs
� Proof and test email marketing campaigns for accuracy
� Assist in creating segmentation and queries
� Support other ad hoc programs, as required. |
| Qualifications: | Required Experience and Skills:
� Must have 1-3 years marketing experience in a dynamic, fast-paced, demanding professional environment
� Must be familiar with email marketing basics and tactics
� Must have excellent verbal and written communication, project management and decision making skills
� Must be extremely detailed to ensure flawless execution and have the ability to spot errors
� Must have strong initiative and have the ability to follow-up with key stakeholders
� Must have the ability to prioritize and work under a tight schedule with input from several different sources
� Must be have intermediate Excel skills and be proficient in Word.
� Bachelor�s degree in Marketing, Business, or a quantitative field preferred
� Prior experience with an email sending service (Responsys, Cheetahmail, ExactTarget) is preferred
� Prior experience with HTML is preferred
� Experience within a retail environment is a plus
